Olathe, KS – Former State Representative Patricia Lightner, candidate for Congress in the 3rd District of Kansas, announced today she is launching three radio ads which aggressively go after Dennis Moore while also promoting Lightner's platform of liberty, freedom, and a return to the nation's founding principles.
The first two spots, entitled "Why is Dennis Moore hiding?" and "Are you ready for ObamaCare?", will begin running the week of September 21st. The third spot, entitled "Dennis Moore's Constitution", will launch at a later date.
Lightner said that in launching the radio ads, she simply wanted to let people know why she is running.
"People may have seen my name in the paper or seen my booth as they walk through a fair, but they deserve to hear directly from me about why I am running. Dennis Moore has been hiding his record from voters, and people want a voice in Congress who will fight for a pro-growth, pro-prosperity agenda that reflects America's founding principles of economic freedom, limited government, and individual liberty. As their Congresswoman, I will be that voice," she said.
Lightner, who is also campaigning throughout the district via her weekly "Meet & Greets", three days of appearances at Old Settlers festival in Olathe, and various appearances at events throughout the district, says she decided to run the ads after receiving much encouragement regarding her likely run for Congress.
"I've had people come up to me and say they've voted for Moore six times, but are fed up with his votes and dissapearing acts -- the people want a Representative with a backbone, who will listen to them and stand up on principle. I'm the only candidate talking about ideas like limited government and free enterprise. People are encouraging me at every turn, and these radio spots are a reflection of that encouragement."
